To Buy or Not to Buy: Chie Mihara’s Leather Ankle Heels

I have been ogling Chie Mihara Suma sandals with hungry eyes for quite some time, but seeing Hayden Panettiere’s fab open toe boots might definitively push me over the edge.

Pros

• They have a very distinct jolie-laid sex appeal.
• They’re currently on sale at $298 (down from $427).
• They’d probably come in handy were I to start an avant-garde Noh theatre troupe.
• I love them beyond reason. Especially beyond reason.

Cons

• They’re still $300.
• Husband categorically refuses to be seen in public with me should I wear them.
• I would most certainly break one or both of my ankles in them.
