Item of the Day: Love Moschino’s Chain Sweater
I thought I was having a See by Chloe moment, but I am really digging pretty much every piece of Love Moschino knitwear on Yoox right now.
This particular sweater is especially catching my eye - I love its old lady chic with the chain print and the big teal bow.
Currently available for $153.

Item of the Day: By Malene Birger’s Bead-Embellished Satin Tunic
I’m not too big on seasonal colors with clothing, which is to say, you won’t catch me dead in pastels at any time of year. However, I have to admit that my palette can tend to be a little dour at times. This was highlighted last weekend when I donned my new grey sweaterdress over black leggings for a friend’s birthday party and my husband said, “you’re wearing that? But…it’s summer.”
I do love bold jewel tones, though, and they tend to be perennial: bright enough for summer, but rich and sophisticated enough for winter. Currently I’m obsessed with anything ochre or rust-colored, and this beaded tunic from the always reliable By Malene Birger is sheer perfection.
Currently available for $545.

Item of the Day: Lisa Ho’s Cape
Is it too early to start thinking about outerwear? Well, if you live in the San Francisco Bay Area where it was raining yesterday, probably not, although still a bit premature to begin investing in your serious winter wardrobe pieces.
When that time comes, I totally have this wool/cashmere blend Lisa Ho cape earmarked. I hate it when I have some fab holiday dress with crazy sleeves or some other detail that make it impossible to put a jacket over, but the open shape here lends itself to more versatility for your layers underneath. It’s also available in a gorgeous grey version, although I think the camel color is particularly rich and equestrian looking.
Currently available at $801.43 USD (thanks to @krissyanjo for the designer inspiration).

Geren Ford’s Western Oxford Shirt
I don’t know what kind of Annie get your gun moment I’m having here, but I’m really kind of digging
Geren Ford’s Western Oxford Shirt.
My general concern with light denim shirts is looking like some sort of Folsom Prison escapee, but I do love that Geren just embraced the western-ness of it all and threw in some grommets and a back yoke.
Currently on sale at $99 (originally $198).
