Item of the Day: Steve Madden’s Markee Pumps

I haven’t really gotten around to buying some basic, silly black shooties that could possibly be semi-appropriate for business settings, but these Steve Madden Markee heels are just cheap enough to make me happily pull the trigger.

There is also a plum version, and while I am all about purple shoes for fall, I am a little iffy if this particular pair strikes too much of a Puss-in-Boots-y note. My fear of looking like Puss-in-Boots is only slightly outweighed by my fear of sharks.
