Look of the Day: Demi Moore at Cartier’s 100th Anniversary Party
I think we can all agree that if there ever were a cougar to aspire to, it would be Demi Moore. I can sort of take or leave the whole Ashton Kutcher thing, but I would like to know where she got the self-portrait that grows older as she get younger and hotter with each passing day. Yes, I’m never one to pass up on a Dorian Gray reference.
I love the asymmetrical stripes at the hem of her Prabal Gurung dress, but if you can’t locate or afford the original, the one-shouldered LBD look is easy enough to obtain and embellish upon. A belt is almost always a nice shape defining detail, and this is where you can use your imagination and give your ensemble some personality, whether it’s with a bright color or statement buckle. Black platform heels and an oversized colored cocktail ring are similarly classic but characterizing details.
