Item of the Day: Hive and Honey’s Truffle Booties

I’ve been needing a basic pair of peep toe booties and found these Hive and Honey Truffle ones. Between the ruffle detail and low price point, they seem to be ideal for being fashion-y at work. My only sticking point is that booties in general remind me of these shoes I had in 6th grade that I literally wore to a nubbin, and I’m afraid I’m going to put them on my feet and be mentally transported back to my dorky years.

A Lot of Look: Drew Barrymore at the Whip It Premiere

Drew Barrymore has been on a fashion rampage of sorts lately, which, if she were Courtney Love would indicate that she was into the bad stuff, but in Drew’s case (at least these days) tends to translate to simply being “wacky.”

I like Drew, but I think it’s at least a minor crime to pair that jaw-droppingly gorgeous yellow Alexander McQueen dress with ratty skunk hair.
